Deputy Manager C&B Operations My client is looking for a Deputy Manager to assist the C&B Operations manager lead the team in their luxury hotel. Responsible for maintaining quality standards and ensuring a remarkable guest experience for all customers. You will be expected to deliver the highest possible levels of service at all times to guests within the conference and banqueting section of this country house hotel. You will supervise the teams ensuring an efficient smooth and hassle free experience is enjoyed by all guests attending. You will need excellent communication skills and have a flair for building rapport quickly and effectively with both team members and guests alike. Whilst you will report directly to the C&B Operations manager you will also be expected to liaise fully with staff and managers throughout the hotel operation with calm positive and efficient outlook at all times. As Deputy Manager you will need to possess knowledge of operational costs and you will assist to maintain the budgetary requirements in order to achieve set targets. This may involve monitoring staff costs wastage consumables budgets glassware and linen. There will also be a strong team leadership aspect to the role which will involve teaching and training of junior staff monitoring team progress and ensuring improvements in performance are made where appropriate. Due to the nature of the training aspect you will be expected to have relevant experience of the role in a similar style location. You may currently be in a supervisor or assistant manager role and looking to progress. Alternatively you may already be a deputy manager within a hotel department looking for a fresh and exciting challenge.
